Bidaat Sunnat ke Mizan me (بدعات سنت کی میزان میں)

In his book Bidaat Sunnat ke Mizan me (بدعات سنت کی میزان میں), Ḥāfiẓ Ghulām Muṣṭafā Ẓahīr Amanpūrī [ḥafiẓahullāh] calls on people to abandon the newly invented actions that have become part of some people's religion. He focuses on innovations related to a person's funeral procession, such as making loud Dhikr while carrying the dead person to his grave, telling the dead person what to say when questioned in the grave, burning incense for him, building over the grave and many other matters, some of which even fall under clear Shirk with Allāh, like slaughtering in the name of a Walī of Allāh.

He also included a very detailed article on the subject of "Raqs," i.e., dancing as a religious practice, as has become the norm among some Sūfīs.

Not only does he clarify that all these matters are clear innovations, as a Muḥaqqiq he has also made the effort to show the reality of the "proofs" that the opponents of the Sunnah bring for their innovations.

The book is written in Urdu.
